Adult Education Ambassador Training 2022-2023 Ambassadors become representational leaders by developing their voice to effectively represent the field of adult education and take action for social change on issues they care about. The recent training held at Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, Arizona on March 3 and 4, was a huge success, with eighteen participants, including eleven CCC students, the program provided a valuable learning experience for all involved. Over two days, the ambassadors were able to put their skills into practice and gain confidence in their ability to represent the field of adult education. They planned, practiced and facilitated a meeting with Dr. Eric Heiser, the President of Coconino Community College. Overall, the Adult Education Ambassador Training program is an important investment in the future of adult education and in the development of student leaders who can help to create positive changes in their communities. By empowering individuals to become effective advocates for adult education, we can create a more just and equitable society where all voices are heard and valued. |
